Hi friends many of you use 3G service but do you know all about 3G.Many of you says that 3G is better than 2G and gives high speed surfing,Your'e right but this is very little knowledge about 3G.Today I'm going to write an article on What is 3G Technology ?
3G follows a pattern of G's that started in the early 1990's by the ITU. The pattern is
actually a wireless initiative called the IMT-2000 (International Mobile Communications 2000). 3G comes after 2G and 2.5G, the second generation technologies. 2G technologies
include, among others, the Global System for Mobile (GSM) - the famous mobile phone
technology we use today. 2.5G brings standards that are midway between 2G and 3G,
including the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), Enhanced Data rates for GSM
Evolution (EDGE), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) etc
You sim card is connected to 3G network using its SIM card which is generally provided by Network provider,Through that you can connect to internet whenever you are in 3G network.Even if you are not in 3G network still you can use 2G network provide by your service provider

The first thing to use 3G is a 3G comapteble Handset which is capable with 3G quality.You also have a 3G Network provider in your area and a 3G enable and activated sim card for using 3G.After it you need to subscribe a network to get 3G service.We often called this type of plan a Data plan or Network plan
